Walk in my Shoez is a panel style TV series designed, produced, and written by ACU media communication students.
It investigates issues facing disadvantaged youth and showcases organisations and individuals that are working to address these issues.
Each episode features three guests who talk to Father Bob Maguire, and each other, about issues including homelessness, drug addiction, refugees, disability and multiculturalism.
Approximately 50 second and third year media communications students produced the series in conjunction with Channel 31. The students have benefitted from working in a professional media environment, producing broadcast quality materials.
Walk in my Shoez will be an annual series and is funded by a grant from the Community Television Foundation.
The first episode of Walk in my Shoez will air at 7pm Monday 10th March on Channel 31 Melbourne.”
