Service Matters Staff survey prize winners announced
Chief Operating Officer Dr Stephen Weller recently presented the major prize from the Service Matters Survey to Laura Montgomery – a Research Assistant at the St Vincent’s Centre for Nursing Research in Melbourne.
Laura was one of 11 randomly selected prize winners who completed the Service Matters staff survey this year. She received an iPad Air for participating in the survey, which had a response rate of 41 per cent.
“The Service Matters survey was conducted as part of the Shared Services Project and it provided staff with an opportunity to provide feedback on the quality of professional services across ACU,” Dr Weller said. “Thanks to staff like Laura, the survey provided valuable information to help shape the way we deliver services in the future.”
Laura said she was shocked to be announced as the major prize winner. “It’s great to have had a chance to give feedback and the prize is a bonus,” she said.
The results of the staff survey, together with the organisational analysis findings of Stage 2: Diagnose of the Shared Services Review, have been considered by the Shared Services Steering Group as part of Stage 3: Design. The Steering Group has produced a Draft Service Matters Framework to guide future service delivery across ACU. The framework includes Service Principles, a Service Model, and a Service Improvement Program. The Draft Framework has been presented to the Executive Planning Group and the Academic Board will consider it in early May, with the aim of sharing and seeking feedback with the ACU community by the end of Stage 3: Design on 31 May.
