Education and spirituality book launch

Dr Marian de Souza, religious education lecturer at ACU, has launched her book Meaning and Connectedness: Contemporary Perspectives of Education and Spirituality in Australia.

Dr de Souza is based at the Melbourne Campus. She co-edited the book and contributed several chapters along with her colleague Dr Brendan Hyde.

This ten-chapter book looks at contemporary spirituality and its role in education for the twenty-first century. Each of the chapters focuses on a particular aspect of education and points the way forward for those interested in developing education programs that will address the spirituality of their students thereby enhancing their sense of self and place.
