Australian Association of Catholic Bioethicists annual colloquium
The Australian Association of Catholic Bioethicists annual colloquium will be held from January 22 to 25, and will feature presentations by Professor Greg Craven and Bishop Anthony Fisher
ACU sponsors this event each year, with the 2012 colloquium themed Agent neutrality and moral co-operation.
The colloquium gathers Catholic bioethicists, philosophers, theologians, health-care clinicians, members of HREC’s, lawyers and politicians from around Australia and New Zealand for a series of presentations and open forums on a particular bioethics topic explored during the proceedings.

Of particular interest during the public forum on Sunday 22nd January will be the launch of Bishop Anthony Fisher’s OP new bioethics text Catholic Bioethics for a New Millennium.
This evening is sponsored by the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine (Vic) and the School of Philosophy.
The colloquium dinner held on Tuesday 24th January features a presentation by Professor Greg Craven on Catholic identity in a secular society.
