ACU Teaching and Development Grants announced
ACU Teaching and Development Grants announced
Professor Anne Cummins, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Learning and Teaching), has announced the five recipients of ACU Teaching Development Grants for 2011. They are:
• Dr Vanessa Hughes, Lecturer, Applied Science, School of Arts & Sciences, MacKillop Campus: Using collaborative approaches to peer review to enhance quality, reflective teaching practices that meet the needs of students
• Ms Carolyn Harkness, Lecturer, Education, School of Education, Signadou Campus: Cross-campus collaboration through digital approaches
• Dr Lisl Fenwick, Senior Lecturer, Rural Primary Literacy, School of Education, Aquinas Campus: Supporting the transference and application of deep knowledge within undergraduate programs
• Professor Sally Borbasi, Associate Dean of Health Sciences (Learning & Teaching), Faculty of Health Sciences, McAuley Campus: Internal moderation of assessment: developing and implementing a cross-campus quality control process
• Ms Alison Blair, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Arts & Sciences, McAuley Campus: If you can’t beat them - join them: using the power of the second screen in lectures
Professor Cummins said “these diverse projects display significant quality of endeavour and innovation, and their proposed outcomes will contribute markedly to strengthening and enhancing teaching and learning across ACU.”
