New Business student and graduate testimonial gallery launched on our Faculty website

With a lot of help from you all, we have gathered some fantastic testimonials from students and graduates from across our three campuses. They cover current students, International, study abroad, mature-age, PhD, MBA Executive and alumni. The thread that binds all these stories together is their sincere appreciation of not only the quality teaching they have enjoyed but the benefits to them personally of the care and attention they receive from lecturers and course coordinators. Click here to check out these inspiring stories.

2014 UG and International Course Guides

The new guides are currently in production and will be ready for distribution early next year. Please note that – due to course review, some of our new courses coming on stream in 2014 were unable to be included in the guides. International has agreed to do a small initial print run to allow us to update their guide as soon as new courses have been approved.

Academics visit feeder schools

A direct mail campaign was undertaken with the aim of engaging directly with prospective students to encourage them to consider ACU Business as a first choice for university. Heads of Business Studies at our feeder schools in each State were invited to organise a date for our senior academics to visit their school and speak with their Year 11 students in Term 4 about career choices in Business (and any other subjects that were requested). A poster was attached to the letter with a request to display it on their school noticeboards. Further visits at other targeted schools for Year 11 and 12 students will occur in Term 1, 2013.

Change of Preference Campaign

MER has created a dynamic new campaign comprising TV, radio, press, outdoor, social media and direct mail. The section of the TV commercial that relates to Business features one of our graduates who started the successful business ‘Nudie Juices’, see it here. In addition to the MER campaign, we will again be running our own radio campaign targeting the parents of school leavers by providing compelling reasons to recommend ACU Business to their teenagers.
