Facilities Management plays an integral part in emergency equipment management and maintenance.
All emergency equipment (for example fire extinguishers and evacuation speakers) are thoroughly tested and certified annually in accordance with AS 1851.2012.
Over the next three years, major service intervals, inspections and testing regimes will be undertaken, and where necessary, equipment upgraded to meet these improved operating standards.
Annual evacuation training and emergency response scenario training is provided for all critical incident team members.
