Outline of Campus Operations Services

Staff members are provided with keys, fobs, swipe cards and security codes by Campus Operations to access their offices and lecture rooms. Access to restricted areas may require approval from a head of school/supervisor.
On some campuses Campus Operations provide an archiving service and will store University material for faculties, departments and individuals.
All campuses have a number of vehicles available for staff to hire while travelling on official work. These vehicles can be booked through Campus Operations and the cost will be charged back to the relevant faculty or department.
Campus Operations is responsible for cleaning services on all campuses. This includes scheduled cleaning at regular intervals through the day and on-demand services.
Campus Operations provide security recycling bins for the destruction of confidential material. These are located in a number of buildings across all campuses. Contact Reception for specific locations.
Mail and Couriers
Campus Operations process incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries on a daily basis. Outgoing courier services are organised on request and will be charged back to relevant cost centres.
Furniture and Fittings
Campus Operations provide standard furniture and fittings to all offices. Any additional requirements should be discussed with your head of school/supervisor.
There are kitchens and lounges provided for staff on all campuses. These are maintained by Campus Operations and are generally equipped with fridges, microwaves and tea/coffee making facilities.
Most campuses provide locker facilities for students and staff to hire. Please see the individual campus service pages for details on locker hire.
Campus Operations collects and holds ACU lost property. Please contact Reception if you have lost or found an item on campus.
Campus Operations manage all maintenance on the campuses, including on-going programmed maintenance and on-demand services.
Noticeboards are located in key buildings across all campuses and are available to students and staff. Campus Operations regularly monitor noticeboards and remove unauthorised notices.
The IT Directorate handles printing at ACU, however Campus Operations assist by providing staff with codes to use printers and photocopiers. Please contact Reception if you require an access code.
There are a limited number of parking spaces available on all campuses for short term access by staff and visitors. In some instances there is a cost involved in booking these spaces. Contact Reception for more details.
Minor items of approved expenditure (up to $150) may be claimed on petty cash from Campus Operations. A petty cash claim form must be filled in and signed by your supervisor/head of school and original receipts must be attached.
All campuses have a Reception, which is open during business hours. Reception is there to help direct your queries and also offers a variety of services to students and staff.
Campus Operations provide recycling facilities on all campuses.
Ad-hock (non-timetabled) room bookings can be made through Campus Operations. Room availability can be checked with Campus Operations and relevant forms will need to be submitted through Service Desk.
Campus Operations are responsible for the security of property and buildings at ACU. All campuses have Security Officers that make regular patrols of the campus and are available to assist students and staff with any security related issues.
