The IT department on each campus can provide a range of services and support for events on campus. Visit the IT Services Catalogue for a complete list.
Many rooms on campus have built-in audio, video and internet facilities. You may also wish to use additional equipment such as microphones (roving or lapel), DVD player and whiteboard. If you intend to use any of these facilities during your event, please notify the IT Service Desk on extension 7272 or email: email@example.com with your requirements.
Check all audio visual requirements with all speakers and presenters. Suggest obtaining a copy of their PowerPoint presentations well in advance and load them onto one file so the presentation is smooth and professional. Allow time at the event to prepare and run through the presentations at the event and check if your presenters and/or MC would like a sound check prior to the event commencing.
If you require technical assistance on the day of your event, contact your local IT Duty Officer. Support is available from 7.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday (except 8.30am-5.30pm in Ballarat and Canberra).
