The ACU Events Guide should be used to assist in planning and organising University events. This guide aims to provide useful information, tools and resources that will contribute to the organisation and success of your event. There are several ways to engage with ACU’s internal and external stakeholders and holding an event is one of them. Events build our profile, create a platform for communication, raise awareness about the work and achievements of staff and students, and create a sense of community.
The objective of this guide is to provide:
a step-by-step guide for the event planning process
awareness of the responsibilities and considerations of an event planner working on behalf of the University
guidance and support when planning and managing professional events
the necessary tools and resources to run smooth and successful events
event, Catholic and government protocols for organising events
useful details about our preferred suppliers
guidance in reflecting the University’s overall image and reputation.
This should be treated as a generic guide only and adapted to suit the specific requirements of each event.
