The IT department on each campus can provide a range of services and support for events.
Many rooms on campus have built-in audio, video and internet facilities. You may also wish to use additional equipment such as microphones (roving or lapel) or a DVD player. If you intend to use any of these facilities during your event, please email the Service Desk to discuss your requirements and determine the assistance that can be provided for your event.
Check audio-visual requirements with all speakers and presenters. Ask the speakers for a copy of their PowerPoint presentations in advance and load them onto a USB or computer so the presentation is smooth and professional. Allow time before the event to prepare and run through the presentations and check if your presenters and/or MC would like a sound check before the event starts.
