Kristina has undertaken various studies including formal coursework as well as research projects in Higher Education. Her philosophy toward assessment is that it is the linchpin to engaging students and teachers alike for interesting, exciting and fun co-learning.

Her job at ACU in the LTC entails disseminating and developing her own learnings in assessment as well as researching and presenting current and emerging philosophies and practices in effective assessment for Higher Education. Kristina's main project involves contributing to the development of the new ACU assessment policy, its launch, roll out and review. The new assessment policy represents current best practice in assessment and reflects the high stands in learning and teaching at ACU. The launch and rollout of the new policy will be done through an integrated suite of professional development workshops which will be delivered on an on-going basis on all ACU campuses. Kristina also teaches into the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at ACU and regularly presents workshops on 'hot topics' in assessment on all campuses. She is dedicated to supporting ACU academics in keeping abreast with all the latest as well as the tried and true in good, student centred assessment.

The LTC is committed to the scholarship of learning and teaching and, as such, is dedicated to maintaining the nexus between research and learning and teaching. ACU is currently involved in developing a number of research projects around assessment. For more information on this please contact Kristina at the LTC.
