EXAMINATIONS

In Semester 1 2017 the central examinations will be scheduled in a two week period with three examination sessions per day.  Central examinations will be scheduled the weeks of 5 to 16 June 2017, examinations may be scheduled on Saturdays.

Supplementary Assessments for units with central examinations will be administered centrally and the written Supplementary Assessments will be scheduled with the central Deferred Examinations the week of 17 to 21 July 2017.

For effective management of the new examination structure, there will need to be an increased intake of Examination Supervisors. The Examinations Team is developing a new process for the recruitment of Supervisors. This will create a more formal structure to the role and will facilitate better induction and training of new staff.

The Exam Management Software Databee is presently being upgraded to the latest 2017 release. The new features will assist in improving processes and provide a better student experience, with more information available to students about their exam.
