Turnaround times for Work Requests

Ad hoc work requests (Students site with workflow)

Update published by IRM - 1 day (and then pending approval and publication)
Please notify IRM of any urgent queries

Ad hoc work requests (other sites) 1 working day
New form creation Allow 5 working days
Updating existing forms Allow 1 – 2 working days
SharePoint permissions for IRM documents including Handbook and Course Browser Allow 1 – 2 working days
Course Progression queries Allow 1 – 2 working days
Handbook and Course Browser information queries Allow 1 – 2 working days which may include follow up with Faculties

ACU Student Portal

Calendar Events: Entries from Important Dates 2017 are being set up as individual calendar events in the Student Portal. We have encountered a problem due to daylight savings where events set for one day display in the calendar on the previous day for Brisbane. This issue is with the developers for resolution.

ACIR

We are currently updating the ACIR website with postgraduate course information for 2017. This information is published on student resources such as The Good Universities Guide.

Course Coordinators Manual

Work has finished on the Course Coordinators Manual to ensure there are no links to old Students’ site webpages. The updated links go to the relevant pages on the public site. When this is not possible, the links will point to the Student Portal pages.

Course Progression

Work continues on the testing and feedback of courses for Phase 5 of Course Progression. The scheduling of additional training sessions for Course Coordinators and Advisors continues whilst we work through the feedback for the sign-off of courses to go live.

We continue to receive ad hoc Course Progression queries pertaining to general maintenance and checking. Please direct any course or unit specific queries, for example, enrolment or grades, to the relevant sections.

Submit changes to Student Notices or Alerts via the IRM Work Request Form.

Please remember to visit the Student Notices and the student site (alerts on right hand side of page) regularly to ensure it stays current.
