New webpage update process for updating pages on the Students site

You may be aware that following the launch of the new Student web site, there has been a change to updating content and information on these pages.

All requests submitted to IRM will be completed as per the standard procedure but the update will be submitted to workflow to be approved by your Manager. Once approved, your update will be sent to the workflow to be published by the Web Publisher. If at any stage an update is rejected, IRM will be alerted and we will follow up with the original requester.

Preferred contact method and work request submissions

Please remember to use the IRM Work Request Form to submit work requests.

For general IRM requests, email irm.section@acu.edu.au

For queries relating to Course Progression, email course.progression@acu.edu.au.

Course Browser and Handbook 2017

Email notifications have been sent to Faculty Executive Officers and key stakeholders to advise that they can commence the update process.

Due Dates are:

  • Course Browser and Handbook Master files: 4 May 2016
  • All other files: 25 May 2016

Course Progression

We are finalising the 2016 updates for courses that are currently live in Course Progression.

We continue to run ad hoc training for Faculty staff for Course Progression as and when required. We generally require that Faculty staff receive training before their access is granted.

Website Accessibility Audits

We continue to ensure accessibility and readability of all our web pages and with any update requests sent through to IRM as per recommendations made by Vision Australia at the request of Web Services.
