Handbook 2017 went live on 1 August as per our agreed timelines. Links to the handbook can be found at the following locations:

As indicated in the last newsletter, the Course Browser was switched over to look at 2017 course data by the end of last week (this task was actioned by IRM and involved removing each 2016 instance of the course data and replacing it with the 2017 instance).
On Tuesday of this week, Tim Roberts (Web Services) switched the database connector so that 2017 Banner information (eg. campus availability, indicative first year costs) was also displaying on the Course Browser.
On Wednesday, Admissions activated all course/campus offerings in Banner. This was the final step in enabling the Course Browser to go live on 3 August, as per agreed timelines.
A huge thank you to everyone involved. The approach taken this year was done so to avoid the browser caching issues of previous years and it proved to be very successful.
The IRM Team is holding a review of our processes for the Course Browser and Handbook on Friday, 5 August from 9:30am.
The IRM team has now entered all CSP and FEE figures into the Banner screens (SZACIDF for Course Browser display) and SOZCINF (for government reporting).
Work is continuing along with Course Progression for general maintenance and checking. We continue to respond to queries as required but a reminder that any course or unit specific queries, for example, enrolment or grades, should be directed to relevant areas.
Work on Course Progression has now stopped so we can concentrate on the Course Browser and Handbook cycle.
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form.
When updating web information, please ensure the information complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.
Please remember to visit the Student Notices and the student site (alerts on right hand side of page) regularly to ensure it stays current.
