INFORMATION RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (IRM) SECTION
IRM is currently in our peak period for the Handbook and Course Browser 2017 cycle so there may be slight delays with updating your requests. Please see table below for Turnaround times for Work Requests as a guide.
Please remember to use the IRM Work Request Form to submit work requests.
For general IRM requests, email email@example.com
For queries relating to Course Progression, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We continue to ensure accessibility and readability of all our web pages to comply with the standards recommended by Vision Australia.
For all videos you may have, it is a sufficient technique to also provide an alternative to the video particularly if there is important information or instruction provided in the video.
This can be achieved by provided full transcripts, audio descriptions or closed captions.

Updates for the 2017 Course Browser and Handbook are nearing completion. Our final work revolves around those course approvals that went through the 29 June Academic Board meeting.
All existing course-related and General Information pages within Handbook 2017 have now been updated and cross-checked for quality control.
The team has also been calculating the indicative first year costs for all courses being offered in 2017. At this stage, we are unable to calculate the CSP indicative costs as per email advice received from the Department of Education and Training indicating that those figures will be “published soon after the upcoming election”.
FEE costs for 2017 are being entered into Banner screens SZACIDF (Course Browser display) and SOZCINF (Government reporting).
Depending on when the Department of Education publishes the CSP figures for 2017, we will enter those costs into the same Banner screens. The government reporting deadline is 1 August, but the Department of Education has allowed all universities some flexibility with this deadline due to the recent federal election and the subsequent delay in the publication of these CSP figures.
Work on Course Progression has now stopped so we can concentrate on the Course Browser and Handbook cycle.
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form.
When updating web information, please ensure the information complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.
