For all videos you may have, it is a sufficient technique to also provide an alternative to the video particularly if there is important information or instruction provided in the video.

This can be achieved by provided full transcripts, audio descriptions or closed captions.

Turnaround times for Work Requests

Ad hoc work requests (Students site with workflow)

Update published by IRM - 1 day (and then pending approval and publication)
Please notify IRM of any urgent queries

Ad hoc work requests (other sites) 1 working day
New form creation Allow 5 working days
Updating existing forms Allow 1 – 2 working days
SharePoint permissions for IRM documents including Handbook and Course Browser Allow 1 – 2 working days
Course Progression queries Allow 1 – 2 working days
Handbook and Course Browser information queries Allow 1 – 2 working days which may include follow up with Faculties

Course Browser and Handbook 2017

Updates for the 2017 Course Browser and Handbook are well underway.

All course-associated updates have been finalised and the team is now working on updating the General Information pages within the Handbook. Our anticipated completion date is 28 June. This will allow us time to perform cross-checking as well as to accommodate for any changes that eventuate from the 29 June Academic Board.

Course Costs 2017

The team has also been calculating the indicative first year costs for all courses being offered in 2017. At this stage, we are unable to calculate the CSP indicative costs as per email advice received from the Department of Education and Training indicating that those figures will be “published soon after the upcoming election”.

Course Progression

Work on Course Progression has now stopped so we can concentrate on the Course Browser and Handbook cycle.

Important Reminders

Work Requests
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form.

When updating web information, please ensure the information complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.

Student Notices and Alerts
Changes to Student Notices or Alerts should also be submitted via theIRM Work Request Form.

Please remember to visit the Student Notices and the student site (alerts on right hand side of page) regularly to ensure it stays current.
