Our preferred method of communication is via email. Please send enquiries to email@example.com as we are not always able to take phone calls. The Admissions inbox is monitored by multiple Admissions staff which increases the chances of your email being responded to promptly.
This intake, 1,503 EAP applications were submitted and we received responses from referees for 1,444 of these. To date 1,082 offers have been made to successful applicants.
All email enquiries regarding EAP should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To support enrolment targets for 2016, ACU will be accepting direct applications for courses usually offered through VTAC from 5 December 2015 (after VTAC’s closing date of 4 December).
Anyone who has NOT already submitted a VTAC application can now apply directly for any of the UG or GET courses that are usually processed through VTAC.
Direct Applicants are encouraged to search the Courses website to submit a direct application. The course browser advises direct applicants who have already applied through VTAC, not to submit a direct application but to change their preferences to add new courses or rearrange their course preferences anytime via VTAC.
A couple of things to note:
- Admissions will be checking to see if the person has already applied through VTAC and if so will be advising them to go back to VTAC and change their preference and their direct application will not be processed.
- Assessment of direct applications will be the same as the VTAC process, ie there is no advantage to applying direct over VTAC
- Offers in UG courses won’t be made for direct applications until after the completion of VTAC Round 1 on 18 January 2016
- Offers in GET courses wont’ be made for direct applications until after the completion of VTAC GET Round 1 on 13 January 2016

With the recent release of semester results Admissions is now able to make firm offers to applicants who have applied for the various postgraduate psychology courses on commencing in Semester 1, 2016.
Decisions are still being made but offers are being made progressively and unsuccessful applicants are also being advised.
Unsuccessful applicants fall into one of two categories - those that have not met the eligibility criteria for the course OR those that have met the criteria but due to the competitive nature of admission into their chosen program are unable to be offered a place at this time.
The applicant is advised which category they fall into, and AskACU have been updated regarding decisions coded into Banner so that any calls received can be answered directly at the point of call rather than needed to be referred on to either Admissions or the School for further detail.
The Admissions Team are excited to be working with AskACU on a joint call campaign aimed at improving the conversion of offers to enrolment and increasing the number of submitted applications for Semester 1, 2016.
Admissions are providing regular updates to the AskACU Call Campaign team who are making direct contact with students and applicants to encourage them to accept their offer or complete/submit their application.
The campaign aims to:
- increase the conversion rates of offers to enrolment
- decrease the number of incomplete/not submitted applications
- obtain direct user feedback on any elements of the applications/enrolment process that are causing concern
Keep an eye on this space for the results!
Only a handful of CD forms remain to be processed for students who have indicated their intention to return to study in Semester 1, 2016 by the appropriate due date.
Processing of postgraduate transfer requests received to date has commenced.
Decisions regarding undergraduate transfer requests received to date will be finalised early next week and processing will then commence. The bulk of these requests are expected to be processed by the end of next week.
Students can submit, change and cancel their transfer request up until 31 December 2015 but should be reminded that during the Christmas break, Admissions will not be processing any transfer requests.
