IMPORTANT – Draft Timetable release delayed

Please  be advised that the release of the Semester 1 2016 Draft Timetable will be  delayed due to a major software update that is required for the timetabling  system, Syllabus Plus Enterprise, in order to support the Web Room Booker  project that is rapidly approaching its go-live date.

Unfortunately,  this update has to be scheduled on the 3rd and 4th of November. No timetabling  changes can be actioned during the upgrade period.  With this in mind the  release of the draft timetable for Semester 1 2016 will be delayed until  the afternoon of Wednesday 4th November.

As  per the University’s Timetabling Policy, TLOs will still have 10 business days  in which to request any changes to the draft timetable.  There will still  be a second opportunity to make late changes with the publication of the  provisional timetable on Monday 23rd November. This second opportunity for  changes will be available for 6 business days.

We  acknowledge that this is an unfortunate delay but are certain that there is  still ample time built into our processes to ensure all change requests from  Schools are actioned.  Students will not be impacted as there will be no  delay in the release of the final timetable for Semester 1 2016.

Summer  Timetable release
The 2016 Summer Timetable is available.  For classes taking place in 2015, details can  be found from the 2015 Timetable  Online. Details for Summer classes  taking place in 2016 are available from the staff Timetabling webpage.

Web Room Booker (WRB) and Ad Hoc Room Bookings

Web Room Booker is now available for all Semester 2,  2015 bookings.  Please refer to the WRB user guide Staff/Tools & Services/Room Bookings  Online (How to Book a Room)  for more information and advice. Assistance is available from TE&R and  Campus Operations staff.  WRB is  available to all staff with an ACU log in.

Timetabling Staff Meetings

Timetabling staff members hold a weekly team meeting every Tuesday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm.
