2016 crn/Unit Data

Operations staff continue to action crn requests for 2016 units. Any additions should be added to the spreadsheets on SharePoint and an email sent to systems@acu.edu.au to advise Operations staff accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE - Operations staff will not be deleting any crn’s after Wednesday, 30 September. If you no longer require an existing unit in a 2016 term then we will change the quota to zero.

2016 Unit Request Data

The annual unit cost data file for 2016 units will be submitted to the Department of Education on Thursday, 1 October.

Government Reporting

Past Course Completions (PS) 2014.1.8 was submitted on Tuesday, 8 September
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) report for student data as at 7 September was submitted on Tuesday, 8 September
SA-HELP (SA) 2015.1.3 was submitted on Wednesday, 16 September

Quick Address Search (QAS) on Student Connect

The QAS (electronic data updates) was installed on the new server on Friday, 4 September during the maintenance window. Student Connect now has the new electronic data updates for students entering their address. From a student's perspective, QAS works exactly like before, only now the electronic data updates ensure that the data set is always up-to-date. Therefore students should not see the "Your address was **not** verified using QAS" message).

Student Systems Training

Webinars will be running as usual throughout September. Please visit Banner and Student Systems Training for session details and the Student Systems Training Calendar for dates and times. All module content/training guides will be made available to attendees after each session via the Student Systems Training SharePoint site.

Weekly Systems Operations Team Meeting

Systems Operations has weekly team meeting from 2:30 to 3:30 pm every Friday afternoon.
Please leave a message during this time and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Turnaround times for Work Requests

  • Ad Hoc Reports – 5 working days;
  • Unit and CRN creation or amendment – 2 working days;
  • Setting up new user accounts – 5 working days;
  • Modifications to Banner / Student Connect / Reports – 10 working days to estimate the job and then a more formal estimate given.
