INFORMATION RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (IRM) SECTION

WEB CONTENT FREEZE

As per the broadcast email from Servicedesk to all staff on 1 April, there will be a web content freeze from 7 to 14 April inclusive, due to a Content Management System upgrade. This means that no web pages can be updated during this period.

Course Browser

The Course Browser opened for mid-year admission on 1 April.

Handbook and Course Browser 2016 Cycle

The Handbook and Course Browser faculty files are being prepared for the 2016 cycle. It is anticipated that these files will be made available by the end of this week, so that the faculty staff can commence making all approved updates. The due date for completion of these updates is 12 June 2015.

Stakeholder files will be prepared next week and emails sent to relevant staff to advise them to make any necessary updates for 2016.

Course Progression

All formal training sessions for Phase 3 of Course Progression have now been completed. If you were nominated by your faculty and have not attended any of the sessions that have been held over the past 2 months, please contact Course Progression via email to arrange a “one-on-one” training session at: course.progression@acu.edu.au.

Feedback from the Student Audit Testing stage for Phase 3 courses is being received and actioned as required. Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback to date.

Important Reminders

Work Requests
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form and ensure that the wording complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.

Student Connect Noticeboard
Changes to the Student Connect Noticeboard should also be submitted via the IRM Upload Request form. Please remember to visit the noticeboard regularly to ensure it stays current.
