The central examination period for Semester 1 2015 will begin on 1 June 2015 and end on 21 June 2015.
The Examination Request Management System for Semester 1 2015 was available from 23 February until Friday 13 March. Late requests cannot be accepted. If a request was not submitted by the closing date a School-based examination will be required.
TE&R will attempt to accommodate all requests relating to the scheduling of an examination, however, the exams must be scheduled having regard to the mix of units undertaken by students and endeavouring to minimise or preferably eliminate clashes of examinations for units taken by class cohorts or individual students.
Subject to space constraints, priority will be given to scheduling central examinations for units with enrolments in excess of 400 students in examination weeks 1 and 2. Practical placements also have a significant impact on the scheduling.
Due to the increase in enrolment numbers, some units may need to be scheduled for more than one sitting. This will require an alternative examination paper to be provided for these units.
The draft examination timetables will be published on Tuesday 7 April. Comments on the draft will be due by 14 April. The final examination timetables will be published on Monday 20 April 2015. The duration and type of an examination, including perusal time, will not be altered after publication of the final examination timetable.
Results should only be left blank if there is outstanding work which has not yet been assessed eg where the student has handed in work but the assessment has not been finalised or an Application for Extension of Time for Submission of an Assessment Task has been completed.
2015 Important dates regarding the term codes, due date and release dates are available at Results – Staff.
Examinations & Results staff members hold a weekly team meeting every Tuesday morning between 9am and 10am.
