December Academic Board Course Approvals

Staff are working through the December Academic Board course approvals. The following new courses are now available on the Course Browser and Handbook:

  • Master of Commerce/Master of Business Administration
  • Master if Information Technology/Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Supply Chain Management/Master of Business Administration
  • Master of OHSEM/Master of Business Administration
  • Graduate Certificate in Leading Resilient Enterprise

Other systems impacted by these course approvals that also need updating are AHEGS, Course Costs database, ACIR, Nomenclature and Course Progression.

Course Progression Project

The first of several Information sessions for Phase 2 of the project are being held on Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5 February. These sessions will be conducted using the upgraded version of the product. Phase 2 of the project is targeting the remaining undergraduate courses from the Faculties of Health Sciences and Theology and Philosophy.

The Course Progression web page includes links to important information including:

  • the project overview;
  • pilot participants listing;
  • frequently asked questions;
  • user guides;
  • a video tutorial; and
  • an online feedback form.

The majority of issues raised from the Phase 1 Course Rules Analysis and Student Audit Testing feedback have been addressed. These changes have been made in the new test environment. Faculty staff will be provided access to this new environment in the coming week, and they will then be able to review their requested changes for acceptance and sign-off.

Work will commence on the scribing of Phase 2 courses (namely the remaining undergraduate courses from the Faculties of Health Sciences and Theology and Philosophy) in the coming week also.

If there are any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Course Progression team.
