VTAC – GET (graduate entry teaching) applications

Please note that applications are currently being taken for Secondary graduate teaching courses, available at Melbourne campus, via the direct online application through the ACU website.

Applicants may apply for the following courses:

  • Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary)
  • Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary)/Graduate Certificate in Religious Education
  • Master of Teaching (Secondary)
  • Master of Teaching (Secondary)/Graduate Certificate in Religious Education

No applications will be accepted for Primary Graduate teaching courses.

UAC – Graduate entry teaching applications are closed for semester one 2014.

QTAC – Graduate entry teaching applications are still open for semester one 2014.

When sending a request to Admissions please remember to insert the Student ID at the start of the query.

Offer Email Enquiries

To assist Student Centre staff with enquiries regarding offer emails that have not been received, please remember you are able to attend to the query by working through the following steps.

  • SAADCRV – to confirm 35 is the latest decision code and note THE DATE recorded
  • GOAEMAL – to confirm/update their personal email address
  • SZAEMST – to locate the unreceived email and resend the message.

The hyperlink for Late Offer Enrolment is only available from Admissions, who email the link directly to newly commencing students who receive an offer close to, or after, online enrolment closes via Student Connect.

The LAU form is an Enrolment form for students to use when they want to enrol in a unit and it is past the date to do so online via Student Connect.


DEF Forms are due Monday 17 February when Orientation weeks starts.

Please note the automatic advice students receive when submitting their DEF Form has been changed from 5 days to 10 days for their request to be processed.


The majority of transfers have now been processed and students advised accordingly.

Please note NO further transfer requests will be considered without evidence of extenuating circumstances.

Psychology Courses

Offers for the following courses are now being made on a progressive basis. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application; however this may not be until the New Year.

Please note, successful applicants are required to respond to their offer within a strict 14 day period.

  • Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology
  • Master of Psychology (Clinical)
  • Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental)

Applicants are to contact the School of Psychology if they have any queries regarding their application status or decision outcome.

NEW Direct Application Closing Date

The due date for online direct applications has been extended to Monday, 17 February 2014. Any course without an early closing date will continue to be available for online applications until this date.

Direct Applications for PG Education staying open until 2 March 2014

Direct applications for all PG Education courses, non-award individual units and cross-institutional study applications will remain open until early March. Applications for non-award Certificates, Advanced Certificates and Diploma courses will close on Monday, 17 February.

Early closing admission dates for the following courses

  • Master of Teaching (Early Years) will be closing 22 February 2014
  • Master of Early Childhood Education will be closing 22 February 2014
