2015 Course Coordinators Manual

The 2015 Course Coordinators Manual is in the process of being updated. Requests for updates have been sent to relevant staff with a due date of Friday 5 September.

2015 Course Browser and Handbook

The 2015 Course Browser and Handbook have gone live on Monday 4 August at 2:00pm.
IRM is continuing to make updates to the 2015 Course Browser and Handbook content as it is received from the Faculties.

Course Progression Project

IRM is receiving and dealing with issues from both Course Coordinators and Student Centre staff on behalf of students who have queries relating to their individual student audits.

On Tuesday 15 July, Course Progression went live for students who are enrolled in courses that were scribed (and signed off by the faculty as complete) during Phases 1 and 2 of the project.

Students enrolled in these courses have been granted access via a Course Progression link within Student Connect.

Course Progression is also available for those staff trained during these project phases via the Faculty and AdvisorsStudent Menu link within Student Connect.

A Course Progression web page is now available on the Students web site. This web page provides more detailed information for students and contains links to the following reference material:

  • Student User Manual
  • Frequently Asked Questions
  • Video Tutorials

This student web page also contains a link to the staff web page (login required), which contains the following additional information and links:

  • the project overview;
  • courses included in “Go Live”;
  • Frequently Asked Questions;
  • Staff User Manual;
  • Video Tutorials; and
  • an online feedback form.

If there are any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Course Progression team.

Feedback for a number of courses from Phase 2 of the project is continuing to be received – thank you to those who have done this.

2015 Course Costs

The Indicative First Year Course Costs database has been completed to date. There will more changes in the coming week with the addition of further course approvals. Once those are finalised, Systems will be advised so that an updated report can be sent to the Department of Education. The database will also be published to the Students web site (within the Fees and Scholarships section) and the Course Browser will also display the costs.

Important Reminders

Work Requests
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form and ensure that the wording complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.

Student Connect Noticeboard
Changes to the Student Connect Noticeboard should also be submitted via the IRM Upload Request form. Please remember to visit the noticeboard regularly to ensure it stays current.
