Course Progression Project

Course Progression went live on Monday 26 May for those staff who were trained during Phases 1 and 2 of the project, and where the courses they are associated with have been “signed off” as complete. Students enrolled in these courses will be granted access to Course Progression in late June, via a link within Student Connect via the Faculty and AdvisorsStudent Menu link.

Outstanding feedback for a number of courses for Phase 2 of the project has started being received – thank you to those who have done this.

The Course Progression web page includes links to important information including:

  • the project overview;
  • pilot participants listing;
  • frequently asked questions;
  • user guides;
  • a video tutorial; and
  • an online feedback form.

If there are any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Course Progression team.

EF&S, Student Centre and IT Service Desk staff have now been trained in Course Progression, should they receive any questions from students and/or staff, once the application is released.

2015 Course Browser and Handbook

IRM is in the final stages of updating the 2015 Course Browser content. However, we are still waiting on a couple of outstanding courses, and the relevant faculty/ies have been contacted.

Updating of the 2015 Handbook content is well underway and should take 3-4 weeks to complete.

Faculty staff were sent a courtesy reminder email that their Unit Description updates are due back by last Friday, 13 June.

Stakeholders have also been provided with the documents relevant to the General Information section of the Handbook. These documents were also due back by Friday, 13 June.

Important Reminders

Work Requests
When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form and ensure that the wording complies with the Student Administration Style Guide located in the All Student Admin section of Knowledge Manager.

Student Connect Noticeboard
Changes to the Student Connect Noticeboard should also be submitted via the IRM Upload Request form. Please remember to visit the noticeboard regularly to ensure it stays current.
