The GUIMAIL form has been modified, to enable users to determine the type of Academic Transcript, previously printed for a student. GUIMAIL now distinguishes between SHZTRAN and SHZTRAP transcript reports. SHZTRAN reports have the ACU_SHZTRAN letter code. SHZTRAP reports have the ACU_TRANSCRIPT letter code.
BANNER Hold process update
The financial hold process on BANNER places restrictions on a student’s level of access to BANNER and Student Connect services. Historically when the hold is in place, students are unable to alter their own enrolment at all.
A change has been made to the hold process, that allows students with particular hold types (eg. FH – Financial Hold) to still be able to withdraw from units via Student Connect, when a hold is in place. This will allow a student to elect to withdraw from a course, if they should choose and not incur additional penalties from the university, whilst on a Hold status.
Student Systems will be able to set each hold type to either restrict all enrolment variations by the student or allow withdrawals whilst on hold.
