Course Progression Project
The advanced DegreeWorks training concluded on Tuesday 26 November. The training was extremely valuable and has provided us with potential options for improving the delivery of the Course Progression application.
The Course Progression web page has now been made available and includes links to important information such as:
- the project overview
- pilot participants listing
- frequently asked questions
- user guides
- a video tutorial
- an online feedback form
We are making good progress working through the issues that have arisen from the Phase 1 Course Rules Analysis and Student Audit Testing feedback.
Once all issues from Phase 1 have been suitably addressed, work will commence on the scribing of Phase 2 courses, namely the remaining undergraduate courses from the Faculties of Health Sciences and Theology and Philosophy.
If there are any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Course Progression team.
Content Management System (CMS) Upgrade
During the period 2-4 December inclusive, there is a scheduled upgrade of the CMS (aka the ACU website). This means that, although the web will still be available for viewing, no updates will be allowable until the upgrade is completed.
IRM Annual Review
The IRM section will be unavailable on 3-4 December as we will be conducting our annual review of processes and procedures off-site. The timing has been done to coincide with the CMS upgrade.
No reporting statistics are available for the past week again. As reported in the past two issues, an incident has been lodged with Talisma in relation to this loss of reporting statistics and is currently being investigated. Slow and steady wins the race!

When submitting work requests, please use the IRM Work Request Form and ensure that the wording complies with the Student Administration Style Guide in Knowledge Manager.
Student Connect Noticeboard
Changes to the Student Connect Noticeboard should also be submitted via the IRM Upload Request form. Please remember to visit the noticeboard regularly to ensure it stays current.
