Course Browser and Handbook 2014

Work on the Course Browser and Handbook for 2014 is progressing well, as is the updating of the 2014 content with the changes provided by the Faculty Executive Officers and key stakeholders.

Course Costs 2014

The Course Costs database for 2014 has been finalised and Systems notified to assist them with their submission to SAAS. This database will provide the indicative first year fees for CSP, FEE Paying and International students for all courses being offered in 2014. The database will be made available in the “Fees Information 2014” section of the Students website in the coming week. In addition, these indicative costs will display in the 2014 Course Browser when it opens in early August.

IThis week, the IRM team held a face-to-face meeting with Dianne van Eck of DVE Business Solutions. This meeting was used to plan the upcoming Course Progression Pilot which will commence in mid-August.

Content Management System (CMS) Upgrade

No updates to the CMS could be performed for 3 days during the week due to an unavoidable infrastructure upgrade by the vendor. This resulted in a backlog of requests which have now been cleared. IRM would like to thank all those involved for their patience and understanding.
