The printing of any examination papers not submitted to the Student Centre by the due date of 3 May are now the responsibility of the Lecturer in Charge. The LIC must ensure examination papers are printed and delivered to the Student Centre no later than 4 pm on Friday 24 May. Exam papers not received by this date will become school-based examinations and will not be administered centrally.

The Semester 1 examination timetables will only be changed to accommodate students with an Education Inclusion Plan (EIP).

Lecturers in Charge should be aware of students with EIPs in their units. Some units may require an additional examination session, if required by students’ examination adjustments.

Examination Policy and Procedures - Staff 8.7: In the event of a specified examination adjustment that requires a spread of examinations for a student, the student may be required to sit the examination in an alternative examination session on either side of, and as close as possible to, the scheduled time.

The Equity and Disability Unit will ensure specific requirements are advised to the TE&R Section not later than close of business on the Friday of lecture week 9.

ACU staff members may view an individual student’s examination timetable via the ‘View a Student’s Personal Examination Timetable’ link on the bottom of the Examination Information for Staff page.

Applications for Deferred Examinations are now available. Only the Examination Coordinator, as nominee of the Academic Registrar may approve applications for a central deferred examination. Students must meet set criteria to be eligible for central deferred examinations. The criterion is listed on the Students Deferred Examination page. Lecturers in Charge may decide to arrange school-based examinations or alternative assessment for students who do not meet the criteria for a centrally deferred examination.

Results should only be left blank if there is outstanding work which hasn't yet been assessed eg where the student has handed in work, but assessment hasn't been completed, or where the student has approval to hand assessment in late.
