Semester 2 2012 Timetable
The Published Timetable can be accessed via Course Management on the Student and Course Management webpage.

All change requests are to be submitted through the School's TLO and need to conform to Section 7.5 of the Timetabling Policy and Procedures. With the exception of instances outlined in the policy, namely:

  • unexpected staff illness, resignation, etc;
  • a change to sessional staff availability for unforeseeable reasons;
  • changes necessitated by unexpected increase/decline in enrolment numbers;
  • a scheduled location becomes a health or safety hazard;
  • a unit is removed from offering;
  • reasonable adjustments to accommodate students with special needs;
  • other unforeseeable and extraordinary circumstances outside the control of the Faculty, School or organisational unit

Change requests must include the reason for a change to occur and an explanation provided by the HOS as to why the change was not requested during the Draft/Provisional stage of the process. Final change requests are due by 12pm 17 August.

Tutorial Direct
Tutorial Direct has now opened for all students. On Friday 20 July at 3.30pm, the system will close for a Force Sort in order to place unallocated students into classes and then reopen at 4.30pm. Provided that there are spaces available in other classes which have been assigned to their course of study, students will still be able to adjust their class allocations up until 8 August, when the system will convert to Read Only mode.  

Please be mindful of the fact that some timetable changes made from now on will not be reflected on student timetables ie any students who have already enrolled in a class may have their enrolment in that group negated. It is essential that, should a change have to take place, any affected students are notified by the School.

Activity Utilisation Reports
Activity Utilisation Reports showing the comparison between predicted and actual enrolments in each unit being offered by the various Faculties were distributed on Monday 23 July. Schools are asked to act upon the advice in the email which accompanied these reports. Timetabling will continue to provide these reports until the beginning of Week 3 of the semester.

Stage 3 – Allocate Staff and Check Activity Details Spreadsheets – sent to TLOs

21 September

Summer A and B Request Spreadsheets sent to TLOs

28 September

Summer A and B Request Spreadsheets due at 4pm

28 September

Stage 3 Spreadsheets due at 4pm

5 October

Summer A and B Timetables published

2 November

Semester 1 2013 Draft Timetable published at 4pm


Web Room Booker (WRB) and Ad Hoc Room Bookings
Web Room Booker is now available for 2012 bookings into teaching spaces.   Please refer to the WRB user guide Staff/Tools & Services/Room Bookings Online (How to Book a Room) for more information and advice. Assistance is available from TE&R and Campus Operations staff.  WRB is available to all staff with an ACU log in.
