Examinations Information for Staff is available online. While policy states the Lecturer-in-Charge of a unit (or nominee) must be contactable during the whole of the examination to answer any questions which may arise regarding the examination paper, there have already been a number of instances where the Examination Supervisors have been unable to contact the LIC or nominee. Staff members should ensure they are contactable during their examinations. If we are unable to reach the LIC or nominee the Head of School will need to be contacted to answer the student’s query.

Staff member may view an individual student’s personal examination timetable via a link on the Examination Information for Staff web page.

To apply for a deferred examination/s, students must submit a Deferred Examination Application (DE) online form with the required documentary evidence no later than five working days after the scheduled examination/s. Examples of acceptable grounds and a list of appropriate documentary evidence are given on the Deferred Examination web page. Only the Examination section may approve deferred examinations. LICs and/or Course Coordinators may approve a school-based examination for any student.

No construction work or building repairs should be conducted while students are sitting examinations nearby. The examination timetables have been sent to all Campus Operation sections. Please remember the students are our priority and they must be able to sit for their examinations without any disruptions.


Results for all units in standard semesters must be submitted within two weeks of the nominated examination date.

Results should only remain blank if all assessment requirements have not been completed.

Submission of Results via Student Connect is TE&Rs recommended method. Please refer to the user guides for entering results and the link for Banner reports on the Staff Results page.
