Note 1 - Late Addition of Units

Summer Term A

Study Period: Earliest commencing date 20 November 2011; latest commencing date 8 January 2012; end date no later than 29 January 2012
1 January 2012	Final date to add a unit via Student Connect.
2 January 2012	Final date for payment of Summer Term A fees.
9 January 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no academic or financial liability. Treated as non-effective enrolment and will not appear on academic transcript.
9 January 2012	*Census Date* - Summer Term A
23 January 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn (WW) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.
29 January 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn Fail (WN) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.
8 February 2012	Final date to add a unit by submitting a Late Addition of Units (LAU) form approved by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge. See Note 1 below.

Summer Term B

Study Period: Earliest commencing date 8 January 2012; latest commencing date 6 February 2012; end date no later than 19 February 2012
29 January 2012	Final date to add a unit via Student Connect.
30 January 2012	Final date for payment of Summer Term B fees.
6 February 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no academic or financial liability. Treated as non-effective enrolment and will not appear on academic transcript.
6 February 2012	*Census Date* - Summer Term B
20 February 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn (WW) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.
7 March 2012	Final date to add a unit by submitting a Late Addition of Units (LAU) form approved by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge; see Note 1 below.

Research A Term

Study Period: Commences 1 January 2012 and finishes 25 March 2012
2 January 2012	Final date for payment of Research A Term fees. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a $200 late fee.
6 February 2012	*Census Date* - Research A Term

Semester 1

Study Period: Standard dates* are: Classes commence 20 February 2012 and finish 19 May 2012 *Some courses may operate outside these dates
20 November 2011	Final date for re-enrolment for 2012 for continuing and resuming students without imposition of late fee.
20 February 2012	Classes commence.
4 March 2012	Final date to add a unit via Student Connect.
5 March 2012	Final date for payment of Semester 1 fees. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a $200 late fee.
31 March 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no financial or academic penalty. Treated as non-effective enrolment and will not appear on academic transcript.
31 March 2012	*Census Date* - Semester 1
30 April 2012	Final date to add a unit by submitting a Late Addition of Units (LAU) form approved by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge; see Note 1 below.

26 March 2012	Final date for payment of Autumn Term fees. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a $200 late fee.
30 April 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no academic or financial liability. Treated as non-effective enrolment. Will not appear on academic transcript.
30 April 2012	*Census Date* - Autumn Term
14 May 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn (WW) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.
3 June 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn Fail (WN) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.
30 May 2012	Final date to add a unit by submitting a Late Addition of Units (LAU) form approved by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge.; see Note 1 below.

Research B Term

Study Period: Commences 26 March 2012 and finishes 24 June 2012
26 March 2012	Final date for payment of Research B Term fees. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a $200 late fee.

24 September 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no academic or financial liability. Treated as non-effective enrolment. Will not appear on academic transcript.
24 September 2012	*Census Date* - Spring Term A
8 October 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with a Withdrawn (WW) grade recorded on the academic transcript. Financial liability remains and Student Learning Entitlement (if applicable) cannot be re-credited.

Study Period: Earliest commencing date 23 September 2012; latest commencing date 11 November 2012; end date no later than 31 December 2012
28 October 2012	Final date to add a unit via Student Connect.
29 October 2012	Final date for payment of Spring Term B fees.
12 November 2012	Final date to withdraw from a unit via Student Connect with no academic or financial liability. Treated as non-effective enrolment. Will not appear on academic transcript.

A student may add a unit to an existing enrolment after the periods identified in Academic Regulation 5.3.2 Late addition of units
