Membership:
  • Vice-Chancellor or nominee as Chairperson
  • Deputy Chairperson nominated by the Vice-Chancellor
  • Faculty Deans
  • A person who holds a substantive position of at least Level D, elected by and from the academic staff of each Faculty

Observers:
  • Director, Personnel Relations and Equal Opportunity or nominee
  • Elected staff member

Meeting frequency: Normally 2 times per year

Responsible Officer: Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs)

Executive Officer: Executive Officer, Promotions Committees
Terms of Reference:
Review(s): The Committee reviews the Policy and Procedures annually, and amendments are recommended to the Vice-Chancellor for approval.  Last revision was in November 2005.
