myVoice is administered by Voice Project, an independent research and consulting company associated with Macquarie University. Voice Project specialises in survey methodology and results analysis, and has had over 15 years’ experience administering staff surveys across more than 3,000 organisations.
All continuing, fixed-term, casual and sessional staff at ACU will receive a personal email invitation to complete the survey on March 27. Your personalised invitation will contain a unique link by which you can access the survey. This personalised link will ensure that Voice Project is able to collect survey results against a range of preset demographic data and provide accurate reports back to the University and relevant to business units.
The confidentiality of your survey answers is assured because personal data is not passed back to ACU in the anonymous survey results compiled by Voice Project. All results are aggregated, and reports are only generated for business units and staff groups when 10 or more people have completed the survey.
Any information that may identify individuals is removed from text responses by Voice Project.
What is the reliability of the myVoice survey?
myVoice was developed by researchers at Voice Project and Macquarie University. The psychometric support for the reliability and validity of the tool has been published in the Australian Journal of Psychology, a peer-review journal. In addition, the survey has been administered to over 3,000 organisations to date.
How the results will be used
Once analysed, the survey results will provide the University with an organisation-wide view of areas of strength and areas where focus is needed. The results will be used to inform actions that may be needed at the organisational level as well as the action planning that leaders will undertake with their staff.
Voice Project will present the overall results of the 2017 myVoice survey to all staff at campus presentations mid-year. The results will also be posted on the myVoice website so you can review the results online. Read more about Voice Project >>
