Leadership and Accountability of the Supervisor - Module 1


At the end of this module participants should be able to:
  • Articulate an understanding of the role of governance within ACU,
  • Communicate an understanding of the interaction between the external and internal control mechanisms, and ACU business and operating practices, and the relevance of these to your role,
  • Apply this knowledge and understanding to day-to-day and strategic decision making and its application to your role,
  • Analyse internal control mechanisms to evaluate best possible solutions to workplace issues and challenges.

During the workshop there will be a number of questions put to participants for discussion in syndicates, which will develop your understanding of the organisational governance structures of ACU. You will complete some individual worksheets to support you with the application of these concepts in your role.
