To ensure new staff are integrated into ACU as smoothly as possible, as the supervisor, you play a key role in the induction process.
Preparation for your new staff member should cover everything from the allocation of a computer, login and keys before they arrive to ensuring support and role clarity once they have commenced. Lasting impressions of a workplace can be formed in the first few weeks of employment and your role is essential in creating a positive induction experience.
Your role is to ensure your new staff member completes all five components of the ACU Induction Program within their first 6 months by providing guidance, allocating time for induction components and ensuring that your new staff member is able to access all the information they need.
