Content Page Tips

1 –  Header Tool Bar

  • Skip to Content: A useful accessibility feature for those users relying on tabbing to navigate. This link takes the focus off the cursor onto the first link in the content area of the page.
  • Skip to Navigation: A similar accessibility feature which takes the focus off the cursor onto the navigation panel on the left of the page.
  • Site Help: Links to the site help pages that you are viewing now.
  • Site Map: Displays the structure of this website.

2 –  ACU National Logo

Click on the ACU National logo to return to the home page.

3 –  Search

Enter a search criteria into this field and click 'Go' to search  the content of our website.

4 –  Major Links

These links are to major areas and other websites such as our Library, myACU (our intranet), ACUonline (WebCT etc) and Contact Us

5 –  Secondary Links

Use these links to find information about the–  topic indicated in link title. These–  links are the same as those grouped under the 'Information About' heading on our–  home page.

6 –  Breadcrumb Links

These are a series of links indicating the location of the page you are currently viewing within the site structure. The more links that appear the deeper you are in that branch of the site. The last page title is not linked because this represents the page you are currently viewing.

7 –  Left Side Navigation Panel

Use these links to navigate through the pages within the section you are viewing and to other sections under the same area title e.g. 'About ACU National'. Clicking on a section link will open up the links to the pages within that section. Links in bold text indicate the area, section and page you are currently viewing.

8 –  Print and Software

Use these icons to access each facility respectively – click on the printer icon to print the current page and click on the software download icon to access the 'Free Useful Software' page. The later page has links to free software that may assist you in the use of content on some of our pages, e.g. the PDF reader, the Flash browser plugin.

9 –  Page Updated

This indicates the date that the page was last updated.
