Information for 2013 ARCLP Applicants

Information to applicants for Australian Research Council Linkage Projects commencing in 2013

The ARC Linkage Projects scheme will have one round only for funding commencing in 2013. It is expected that the current round will open for proposals in September 2012. Research Services will inform the University academic staff members when the ARC Linkage Projects Funding Rules for funding commencing in 2013 are released. The Grants Unit of the Research Services will assist applicants with their applications in RMS when applications are open.

The process for submitting an ARC Linkage Project application for funding commencing in 2013 is as follows:

Researchers should have started preparing their application, including discussions with the Faculties and potential partner organisations with regard to cash and in-kind contributions. The most recent ARC Funding Rules for the LP scheme (PDF 274KB) can be used as a guide but changes are expected to the new Funding Rules. Research Services will provide a summary on the changes.

If you do not have an RMS user ID, please contact the Grants Unit to arrange one.

All applicants are required to complete an Expression of Interest (EoI) Form (PDF File, 203.2 KB) and submit it to Research Services on line. Requirements and deadlines for the EoI submission are available on the ACU Advice - Submission of applications for ARC LP commencing in 2013 page.

You should view the ACU Applying for Research Grants website, in particular the Budget Information and the Collaboration on research projects involving external parties and sharing of grant funds pages when preparing your application.

Applicants must include Carbon Tax costs to budget if parts of the applied funds are to be used for travel purposes.
