ACU National Social Justice Youth Forum
23rd May 2008
The Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo) will host the fifth annual Social Justice Youth Forum (SJFY) on Friday 23 May from 8am to 2.30pm.
The SJYF is an opportunity for the University to engage and explore our Mission with secondary school students from across Queensland who also share in our commitment to social justice.
The forum will provide secondary school students with an opportunity to actively participate in a range of lectures and workshops which aim to stimulate awareness within the field of social justice.
The keynote address at this year’s forum will be delivered by Father Chris Riley the founder and CEO of the Youth off the Streets community organisation, which provides care for those who have been affected by drugs, physical and emotional abuse, and chronic homelessness.
