People with a disability
The Library aims to provide an online and physical environment in which all clients can access information, resources and services.
The Library works closely with the University's Equity and Disability Unit to ensure that it can best meet the needs of clients with a disability. In particular, the Library works with local Disability Advisers.
Each Campus has a Disability Advisor. Disability Advisers provide a planning and assessment service and coordinate accommodations to meet the needs of students with disabilities. They also advise and liaise with academic staff and staff in other areas of University administration, including the Library, on behalf of students with a disability. For further information contact your local Disability Adviser.
Each Campus Library provides facilities for people with disabilities, as well as specific services that may be required. Each library also has a Campus Library Disability Contact who acts as the first point of contact for people with disabilities who may require additional support to access library services and resources. The Campus Library Disability Contact is also the liaison person for the local Disability Adviser.
