Australia is generally a safe place to live and study. However, crime does occur, and so it is important to take basic precautions in order to stay safe.

There is also an ACU International Office on the Brisbane, North Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne campuses. These offices are open Monday – Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
An International Student Assistance Hotline (1800 180 391) is open from Monday – Friday, 5pm-9am and 24 hours on the weekend. Please note that these are general support services. If you are in a life-threatening or dangerous situation that requires an emergency response, please dial 000.
