The ACU July School gives you an excellent opportunity to fast-track your studies during your vacation in July.
ACU July School units have been developed to enhance your own studies in an intensive mode and provide a unique perspective on Australian and international society and culture.
Must have successfully completed at least one semester of study in your current ACU degree.
Must meet prerequisites for your chosen unit(s).
Must have Course Coordinator approval to enrol in your chosen unit.
How to Apply/Enrol:
Step 1: Confirm your eligibility to study your chosen July School unit with your Course Co-ordinator. Step 2: Once approved, log into Student Connect. Step 3: Under the My enrolment section, select Enrolment Managerand enrol in your chosen unit in Professional Term 5 (201855).
If you are a current ACU student (Commonwealth Supported Student) and you are enrolling in the July School unit as an approved component of your ACU degree, you will pay tuition as per your degree requirements.
If your chosen July School unit is not approved as part of your degree, you will be required to enrol on a fee-paying basis. You must seek approval from your Course Co-ordinator prior to enrolment.
If you are an international student you pay the same tuition fee for these units as you do for units during the semester.
ACU July School places are limited, register your interest now.
The ACU July School will assess your application and if successful, you will receive an Offer letter to study. You will need to accept this offer to secure your place and accommodation (if required).
You will be provided with ACU July School pre-departure information which will include accommodation, airport reception and orientation details.
5. Applying for a visa
Most students will require a visitor visa to enter Australia for the ACU July School. Visit the Department of Home Affairs website for further information on how to apply for your visa. Some passport holders from certain countries are eligible to apply for a visa online.
If you wish to remain in Australia for a period longer than three months you should refer to the Department of Home Affairs for guidance or you can contact the nearest Australian High Commission, Consulate, Embassy or Diplomatic Post. Once your visa has been approved you should finalise your travel arrangements.
6. Arrival and orientation
You are expected to arrive in Australia the Friday before the week in which your class commences. You are required to attend an Orientation Session before classes commence. Students will be issued with an ACU student ID on arrival.
