The ACU July School gives you an excellent opportunity to fast-track your studies in Sydney during your vacation in July.
There are a range of units to choose from at the ACU July School.
- Must have successfully completed at least one semester of study in their current ACU degree.
- Must meet prerequisites for their chosen unit(s).
- Must have Course Coordinator approval to enrol in their chosen unit.
If you are a current ACU student (Commonwealth Supported Student) and you are enrolling in the July School unit as an approved component of your ACU degree, you will pay tuition as per your degree requirements.
If your chosen July School unit is not approved as part of your degree, you will be required to enrol on a fee-paying basis. You must seek approval from your Course Co-ordinator prior to enrolment.
If you are an international student you pay the same tuition fee for these units as you do for units during the semester.

Review the list of July School units (courses) and select the unit you wish to study (Please note: unit availability is subject to enrolment demand).
Complete the online Study Abroad/Exchange application form. Please ensure you complete all ACU July School sections.
When completing the application, you can choose to enrol in the July School as a stand-alone program, or you can enrol in the July School as part of a longer study abroad or exchange program
ACU July School applications close on 31 March 2017.

The ACU July School will assess your application and if successful, you will receive an Offer letter to study. You will need to accept this offer to secure your place and accommodation (if required).
Most students will require a visitor visa to enter Australia for the ACU July School. The Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601) visa allows you to study and to stay for up to three months. Some passport holders from certain countries are eligible to apply for a visa online. In this case you will need to pay a service fee of AUD$20.
If you wish to remain in Australia for a period longer than three months you should refer to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection for guidance.
Apply online for your visa at Department of Immigration and Border Protection website or you can contact the nearest Australian High Commission, Consulate, Embassy or Diplomatic Post. Once your visa has been approved you should finalise your travel arrangements.
