Students who have not taken their education in English will need to meet the University's English Language Requirements as well as the following minimum academic requirements to be considered for admission.
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degrees:
Canada
- Alberta - Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses in Alberta High School Diploma
- British Columbia – Average of C+ in 4 subjects including English in the British Columbia Senior Secondary School Graduate Diploma
- Manitoba – Average of 60% in the Manitoba High School Graduate Diploma
- New Brunswick – Average 65% required in 5 academic courses in the New Brunswick High School Graduation Certificate
- New Foundland – Average 65% in 5 academic courses in the New Foundland Provincial High School Graduate Certificate
- Nova Scotia – Average 65% in 5 academic courses in the Nova Scotia High School Completion Certificate
Ontario – Average of 65% in 6 OAC courses in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma - Prince Edward Island – Average of 65% in 5 academic subjects in the Prince Edward Island High School Graduate Certificate
- Quebec – Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses
- Saskatchewan – Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses
Mexico
Successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or foundation program OR successful completion of one year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the completion of High School Studies.
An ACU National Diploma Pathway Program will meet this entry requirement.
United States
United States High School Graduate Diploma with a minimum Grade Point average of 2.8 and SAT scores of 500 for verbal and mathematical components.
Postgraduate (Masters)
A Bachelor Degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelor Degree with a pass that is acceptable to the university. Please note there may be additional entry requirements for specific programs.
Special Requirements for Teacher Education Programs
Primary Teaching - Extra requirements apply to students seeking registration as a primary school teacher in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is the student's responsibility to check their domestic registration requirements.
