International Student Scholarship

ACU offers scholarships for 50% of the full-time tuition fees to up to 20 international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs each year.

ACU also offers full tuition scholarships for up to 2 international students commencing research degrees each year.

Scholarship Rules

Each scholarship will be awarded for the duration of the recipient’s course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.  The scholarship does not cover visa application costs, Overseas Student Health Cover, air fares, accommodation, excursions, text or reference books, conferences or other costs the student may incur in pursuing his/her course or in traveling to or from Australia and the campus at which he/she is studying.

Eligibility

Applicants must –

  • be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand;
  • hold an offer for a place in an undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD program at Australian Catholic University;
  • attend at the relevant ACU campus as a full-time student; and
  • not be in receipt of another major scholarship or award.
  • not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student

Selection  Process

The scholarships are awarded each year on the recommendation of a Selection Committee and are awarded to students who have demonstrated academic merit including achievement of an average of at least 80% in their prior studies.
