If you are an international student with difficulties paying your tuition fees due to financial hardship, you may apply to pay your tuition fees by instalments each semester. Instalment plan applications are reviewed based on individual basis and if the application is approved, you will be able to pay your tuition fees in three separate instalments.

International students who have completed at least one semester at ACU are eligible to apply. Instalment plans are not available to commencing international students.
Can I still apply for an instalment plan if my enrolment has been previously cancelled for non-payment of fees?
Yes, you can still submit an Instalment Plan Application even if your enrolment was previously cancelled for non-payment of fees. However, your payment history will be taken into serious consideration and it is likely that your application will be refused unless extensive supporting documentation can be provided.

What happens if I miss an instalment due date?
If you miss an instalment due date, a $200 Late Payment Fee will be charged to your account.
If you have difficulties in meeting the instalment due dates due to unforeseen circumstances, you must contact your International Student Adviser as soon as possible (and do so prior to the fees due date) to discuss your options.
What do I do if my enrolment is cancelled for non-payment of fees?
If your enrolment is cancelled due to non-payment of fees, you have 20 working days from the date of your cancellation to apply for the reinstatement of your enrolment. You will also be charged with a $150 Reinstatement Fee in order to have your enrolment reinstated. If your enrolment is not reinstated within the 20 working day period, the University will report your cancellation status to the Department of Education (DoE) and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) as required by the National Code 2007. This will have a serious impact upon your student visa and you are strongly recommended to contact the nearest DIBP office to discuss the implications.
