(L-R) Ms Carmen Law, Senior Compliance Coordinator, ACU International, Lindsay Emeriau, Australia Awards scholarship recipient and Master of Business Administration graduate, and Ms Diana Stevens, Associate Director, International Admissions and Student Relations.
ACU would like to congratulate Lindsay Emeriau, recipient of the Australia Awards Scholarship on completing his Master of Business Administration at ACU this July.
Lindsay, along with fellow graduates, was awarded his certificate at the Australia Awards Welcome and Farewell Celebration, hosted at NSW Parliament House on June 26, 2017. The biannual event was attended by newly arriving and graduating Australia Awards and Australia Awards Endeavour scholarship recipients, and was an opportunity to network with numerous government representatives, officials and scholars.
Lindsay, originally from New Caledonia, completed a Bachelor of Business Administration back in 2014 as an international student. After completing his undergraduate degree and spending some time in his homeland he returned to Australia to pursue a Master of Business Administration, which he was able to complete as an Australia Awards Scholarship recipient. Lindsay chose to further his studies at ACU largely because he had such a great experience as an undergraduate student. He was also attracted by the unique qualities offered by ACU’s MBA program.
The Australia Awards initiative brings together scholarships and fellowships administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). ACU is a long time participating member university and currently hosts Australia Awards scholars in the NSW, Brisbane and Melbourne campus.
