ACU has once again performed strongly in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, having ranked 301–400 for Arts and Humanities in the subject category.
This is the first time the University has been ranked for Arts and Humanities and the first time ACU has been included in a THE subject ranking.
The ranking employs the same rigorous criteria as the THE World University Rankings, but the methodology has been adapted to suit the individual fields.
In other ranking news, ACU has also performed highly in the 2017 ARWU Subject Rankings.
ACU has ranked:
50th (world position) for Nursing
78th (world position) for Education
497th (world position) for Public Health
The ARWU Subject Rankings focus on research output and impact. To be included in a subject ranking, a university requires a minimum number of research publications during the period of 2011–2015. For Nursing and Education, the publication threshold is 50 and for Public Health the threshold is 100 publications.
