The ACU International Student Scholarship is awarded to up to 20 international students each year. The scholarship covers 50% of the cost of a program at ACU and rewards students based on academic merit. For this reason, students must have achieved at least an average result of 80% in prior studies for their application to be considered. This average can only be calculated from study done in the past two years.
To be eligible for the ISS, a prospective student must:
not be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or New Zealand citizen;
hold an offer for a place in an undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD program at ACU;
enrol as a full-time student;
not have received another scholarship or award;
not be an ACU Study Abroad or Exchange student.
Applications for the ISS (Semester 2) open 1 March and close 30 April 2016. Students must hold a letter of offer from ACU before they can apply for the scholarship.
As it may take 2-3 weeks for ACU program applications to be processed, we strongly recommend applications be submitted as soon as possible to obtain a letter of offer by March.
